This week, coach Ron Rivera made his most controversial decision yet as the leader of the Washington Football Team by benching second-year quarterback Dwayne Haskins.

Plenty has been written and said regarding the decision, the motivation, the explanation, and the ramifications. But the decision has been made, and the NFL schedule marches on, stopping for nobody’s drama (other than the Titans, apparently).

And with a new quarterback, a winnable division, and an enigmatic opponent coming to town, there’s plenty to look forward to in Sunday’s Week 5 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. So here’s your weekly dose of Washington Football Team Reality Checks.
