The Washington Football Team suffered a third straight loss on Sunday and there are negatives to talk about, but there were some encouraging moments to focus on as well.

The Washington Football Team was overwhelmed by a much better Baltimore Ravens team on Sunday, but it wasn’t the massive blowout that some analysts were expecting.  The offense actually came to life in the second half, but it was too little, too late.

The defense surrendered 31 points and it was the third straight game they have allowed 30 or more points in a game.  The Washington Football Team record is now 1-3, and there are obviously plenty of negatives to talk about in week four, but there were some positives as well.  The positives, especially in the second half, can be placed in the encouraging category.

It’s true that there are no morale-boosting victories that actually count in the win column, but the Washington Football Team on Sunday had a solid offensive output after halftime, particularly in the fourth quarter.  Can Washington turn some of these positives into a long term success as the season continues?  If it happens, we’ll certainly highlight it each week in the positives.  Also, we can’t ignore any of the negatives and that includes what happened in the Ravens game.  With that in mind, let’s take the latest look at the positives and negatives for Week 4.
