The Washington Football Team couldn’t beat the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4, but there were some silver linings. Here are the studs and duds from the game.

Many expected the Washington Football Team would be blown out of the water by the Baltimore Ravens. They did lose, and the loss was by double-digits, 31-17.

Even despite the loss though, the game wasn’t all terrible for Washington or their fans. The team did show some growth on offense. Sure, they lacked punch, but Dwayne Haskins bounced back after an awful outing against the Cleveland Browns. And a couple of top weapons have emerged.

On defense, things weren’t as good, but the team did make some big plays and they weren’t entirely trampled by Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.

The team is still a long way away from being a legitimate contender, but this season was never going to be about winning. It’s about identifying what the team needs to do to get on the right path in the future. It’s about establishing culture. It’s about finding potential contributors on the roster while identifying their weaknesses.

If they can win, the team will surely take it, but there’s no doubting that this is a rebuilding team.

There was enough growth against the Ravens that fans should be able to pick out some silver linings. Of course, there are some discouraging moments that will hang like a dark cloud over the team as well, but that’s to be expected.

Here’s a look at the studs and duds from Washington’s loss to the Ravens and how this will impact the team moving forward.
