3. Isaiah Wright totals 100+ scrimmage yards

Steven Sims is out for Sunday’s game. Terry McLaurin is questionable with a thigh injury. Even if McLaurin plays, he may not be 100 percent.

If that’s the case, the team will need someone to step up and work as a top-two receiving option for the team.

That may be Isaiah Wright. The undrafted rookie looked good in his first offensive work of the season last week when he played 29 snaps and totaled five touches for 30 yards. He mostly worked near the line of scrimmage and did handle ae ball once as a runner, but he was smooth and looked like a potentially solid weapon for the team.

With Sims out, Wright may step into the slot role for Washington. Dontrelle Inman will probably line up across from McLaurin (if he plays) and if McLaurin doesn’t play, Wright may move inside and outside depending on where Antonio Gandy-Golden lines up. Either way, Washington could try to funnel targets to Wright because the former WR/RB hybrid can do things with the ball in his hands.

As Washington looks to move the ball on Sunday, don’t be surprised to see them target some short, quick routes to Wright. And he could get the ball on jet motion out of the backfield a couple of times and may be able to break one big. He should get touches no matter what considering the state of the Washington backfield.

Generating yards against the Ravens’ tough defense is never easy, but Wright is versatile enough to blow his career-high in yardage out of the water. We’ll say that Wright will have 100+ scrimmage yards in Week 4 as he becomes a bigger part of the Washington offense.
