The Washington Football Team’s injury report is available, and Steven Sims will miss the game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Washington Football Team is heading into their game against the Baltimore Ravens with a lot of questions about their receiving corps. They will be without one of their top receivers while another is questionable.

According to Logan Campbell, an official reporter for the team, Washington has already ruled out three players. They are Cole Holcomb, Chase Young, and Steven Sims.

Holcom and Young were not surprises, as Holcomb has been out since Week 2 while Young was considered unlikely to play all week. However, Sims (toe) missed practice each of the past three days and as a result will miss the game on Sunday.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, Terry McLaurin is also questionable with a thigh injury after being downgraded at practice on Thursday and working off to the side on Friday. He may be a true game-time decision, and if he can’t go, the Washington receiving corps is going to lack both talent and depth.

If both Sims and McLaurin are out, Isaiah Wright,  Dontrelle Inman, and Antonio Gandy-Golden would likely be the team’s top-three receivers with Cam Sims mixing in as the fourth option. That’s a relatively inexperienced group outside of Inman, and it’s one that the Ravens won’t have a lot of trouble disrupting. Wright would be the key of that group given his versatility, so he needs to show up ready to ball out if McLaurin is out.

Elsewhere, Morgan Moses, Ryan Anderson, and Kevin Pierre-Louis are being listed as questionable. Moses seems fine and should be good to go on Sunday while the linebackers are more questionable. Pierre-Louis’ status bears watching, as he was listed with an illness. If he can’t get healthy by Sunday, Shaun Dion Hamilton would see an increased role in the defense and have to help Jon Bostic contain Lamar Jackson.

Hopefully, the questionable players will be available for Washington, and McLaurin, in particular, is needed by the squad. We’ll soon see who the team has at their disposal, but if their receiving corps is this beat up, it could be a long day against the Ravens on Sunday.
