Positive 4

Strong safety Kamren Curl is a seventh-round success story after just three games, but he is generating little to no attention from analysts or the media.  He has seven tackles thus far in 2020, including two for negative yardage.  He added a couple of tackles on Sunday and the young rookie from Arkansas is making a believer out of the skeptics.

Most analysts and fans thought he was destined to be on the practice squad this season, but Curl has been solid in coverage and the rushing defense.

If Landon Collins continues to struggle this season, Curl could steal more minutes and have a very good impact going forward.  For a seventh-rounder that wasn’t expected to have any impact in 2020, Curl is gladly proving his doubters wrong.  Keep an eye on this rookie.

Negative 4

Dontrelle Inman had a good game against the Browns.  He corralled two passes for touchdowns and had a positive impact overall.

So, why is this in the negative column?  After his first touchdown, Inman was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct when he turned around and taunted the defender.  It was an egregious moment for him and it set a poor example for the younger players.  It also cost the WFT 15 yards on the kickoff and gave the Browns good field position after the return.

Mindless unsportsmanlike penalties hurt the team and Inman made a negative mistake here.
