Washington Football Team: Five positives and negatives from loss to Browns
The Washington Football Team floundered on Sunday against the Browns and while there are plenty of negatives to mention, some positives did emerge as well.
The WFT had a golden opportunity to claim sole possession of first place in the NFC East on Sunday, but the trip to Cleveland turned out to be a huge disappointment to the team and fans. For now, they share the division lead with a paltry 1-2 record.
It is now obvious that head coach Ron Rivera is using this season to evaluate the team and players and when victories occur, there will be a time to celebrate. When losses occur, and there could be many, it is a time to evaluate and examine the failures.
The coaches will certainly be busy this season as each game will be placed under a microscopic look at all of the positives and negatives in 2020.
On Sunday in Cleveland, there were some positives to talk about, but the negatives continued to mount throughout the game. The positives are obviously far fewer in number, but there are some things to build upon and several of the rookies were a focus this week.
The negatives simply can’t be ignored either, but we’ll be constructive in the criticisms and without a strong bias. Let’s take a look at the positives and negatives from the Browns game.
