2. The Reality Is, neither secondary is good at all.

Cleveland’s secondary is one of the few in the NFL less impressive than Washington’s has been through two weeks. While the Football Team has managed three interceptions defensively, the rest of their play has been pretty sub-par, with multiple coverage busts and massive plays given up in both games.

Cleveland has been torched by Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow in back-to-back weeks, with both teams notching over 275 yards passing and 30+ points. Washington has been without Kendall Fuller through two games but he’s expected to return, while Cleveland’s best corner, Denzel Ward, is listed as questionable this week.

The secondary that manages to avoid big mistakes and busts in coverage will go a long way toward securing a victory.

My Prediction: Those first-half fireworks are mostly through the air as both secondaries continue to struggle. Terry McLaurin will torch Denzel Ward or whoever replaces him. Scary Terry ends up with another 100+ yard performance.
