Haskins in the second half

All that said, we’ve seen that Haskins has been better in the 2nd half of games.  The stat breakdowns by half this year for Haskins are rather staggering.

Haskins’ second-half completion percentage is 13 points higher than his numbers in the first half (63 to 50). In the same number of pass attempts, Haskins’ second-half yards are nearly double his first-half production at 143 yards in the first half of games to 258 yards in 2nd half of games

And Haskins’ QB Rating is nearly 30 points higher (on a scale ranging from 0 to 100) from the second half to the first.

I’m confident this coaching staff can scheme up a better plan that allows Haskins to get comfortable.  We shall see this week in Cleveland.

Remember, the defense has been playing with large deficits in the first two games.  Can you imagine the pressure this defense is going to bring when playing from a lead?  Maybe even a double-digit lead and matched up with an offense that becomes one dimensional?  I’m excited to see this!
