These five players are going to be important for the Washington Football Team against the Cleveland Browns.

Week 3 of the 2020 NFL season is almost here and with it comes a big game for the Washington Football Team. In Week 1, they earned an excellent win over the Philadelphia Eagles to start off the Ron Rivera era on the right foot. In Week 2, they took a step back against tougher competition and fell to the Arizona Cardinals in a game that never felt close.

In Week 3, Washington will be taking on the Cleveland Browns in their second road game of the season. The Browns were pummeled by the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1 before winning an offensive shootout against the Cincinnati Bengals that wasn’t quite as close as the final score indicated.

The Browns, like Washington, have a new coach in Kevin Stefanski and he is still installing his new system and scheme after a preseason-less offseason.  That said, the Browns have a lot of big-name talent on the offensive side of the ball and they are strong in the trenches as well. If their team is healthy — a big if — they will be a tough test for Washington.

Still, this is a game that Washington should have a chance to stay competitive in. But if they are going to do that, they’re going to need some players to step up to help make that happen. Here are the five players to watch for Washington in their Week 3 clash with the Browns.
