The Good

WR Terry McLaurin

McLaurin proved why he is a cornerstone piece of the Washington Football Team. He totaled seven catches, 125 yards, and a receiving touchdown. He displayed his elite yard-after-catch ability. He broke a slant for a touchdown and was a practically untouched. The offense was rather putrid on Sunday, but like almost always, Terry McLaurin was a bright spot.

The Running Game

Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic combined for 108 yards and a touchdown. Gibson capped off a solid game on the ground with a late touchdown. Both Gibson and McKissic looked really quick when they got going downhill with a full head of steam. Gibson had multiple plays where the play looked like it would go for a minimal gain and he got yards out of it. The tandem of Gibson and McKissic is one to build on. Feeding Terry McLaurin and establishing a run game will prove key in sustaining drives in a talent-deficient offense.

DE Chase Young

It is two weeks into the season and Chase Young already may be the best player on the defense. He is such an impact player. He recorded another sack, yet that doesn’t even begin to describe his impact. He was great at setting the edge in the run game and made a number of plays running down running backs on screen plays. Chase Young is a Stud. With a capital S.

P Tress Way

Just another day at the office for one of the best punters in the NFL. ‘Nuff said.
