Here are the takeaways from the Washington Football Team’s Week 2 loss to the Cardinals.

The Washington Football Team had a tough task on hand in Week 2. They were taking on the Arizona Cardinals, a team that matched up very well against them, as both teams looked to improve to 2-0 on the season.

It seemed probable that Washington would have trouble pulling off a win over the Cardinals, but even with that said, the overall result of the game was disappointing.

Washington fell behind early by a score of 20-0 and went into the half without having scored a point. Ultimately, they were able to score 15 points and fell to the Cardinals 30-15 on the day.

There were some encouraging signs from Washington in the second half. But the overall sentiment was that following the amazing comeback win against the Eagles, this effort fell short of the expectations of some fans. In fact, it was a little bit of deja vu, as the team fell behind early, and the only difference between this and Week 1 was that the team never, in earnest, made a comeback.

In the immediate aftermath of the game, here are the three biggest takeaways about the team, starting with a little something positive on offense.
