After possibly the weirdest spring and summer of my lifetime, it is hard to describe just how happy I am to be back talking about football.

And while the offseason has been extremely eventful for the Burgundy and Gold, Week 1 is finally here. And with it… Reality Checks are back!

There is no shortage of mystery about this season for the Washington Football Team, including the question of how long it will take media outlets to stop referring to their mascot as simply “Football Team”, but I’m here to cut through the noise and give you five clear Reality Checks to help you prepare for each game. So, here we go for Week 1.
