The Washington Football Team hosts the Philadelphia Eagles to kick off their 2020 season in what should be an exciting matchup.

In what feels like déjà vu, the Washington Football Team kicks off the regular season again against the division rival Philadelphia Eagles. NFC East battles are always tough and Washington hasn’t won against Philly since 2016. They are overdue for a win.

Washington underwent a name change, a coaching change, and have a different quarterback under center to start the season in Dwayne Haskins. They also added Chase Young in the 2020 NFL Draft. They are a young team building for the future.

The Eagles will likely be competing against the Cowboys for the division title this season. They’ve got a Super Bowl-winning coach, a solid quarterback, and a talented, veteran roster. They are built to win now.

But, with no preseason and not much of an offseason due to the coronavirus, Week 1 will be a measuring stick for every team in the league. If Washington wants to give Ron Rivera his first victory and get off to a 1-0 start, here’s what they have to do to beat the Eagles.
