Bold Predictions 1-3

1. Ryan Anderson has a breakout year and is voted as an alternate to the Pro Bowl.

He produces eight sacks on the year, four tackles for a loss, one interception, one fumble recovery, two forced fumbles, 64 tackles, and five pass deflections.  It’s bold when you consider that the 2017 second-round draft pick from Alabama has failed to live up to expectations until now.  So yes, this is bold – very bold.

2. Geron Christian solidifies his hold on the left tackle position and produces a season that names him as a Pro Bowl alternate.

More from Commanders News

By effectively protecting Dwayne Haskins’ blind side in 2020, the former Louisville Cardinals standout goes from being a questionable swing tackle to a blocker extraordinaire.  Once Christian is able to convince the coaches that he is the left tackle of the future (a few games into the season), Saahdiq Charles becomes the permanent starting left guard.  It’s bold and daring, but we’ll be happy if this occurs.

3. Bryce Love racks up a couple of long scores and some solid yardage.

He may not produce the biggest numbers in 2020, but he will surprise with two touchdowns of more than fifty yards and two more – one from eight yards and another from 14 yards out.  He will also produce 408 yards rushing and 22 catches for 224 yards.  It’s bold and that is very good production from a fourth-string running back.
