Bold Predictions 4-6

4. Logan Thomas will produce his best season as a tight end since entering the league in 2014.

Watch for the physical Thomas to haul in 48 receptions for 655 yards, seven touchdowns, and one jet sweep carry for 21 yards.  He will also be a force as a blocker in all facets of the offense.  This is bold, but Thomas is truly capable of these numbers.

5. Troy Apke‘s athleticism will translate to tangible production.

More from Riggo's Rag

Apke is a surprise starter at free safety to start the season and he will stun the football world with his exceptional accomplishments in 2020.  He will haul in six interceptions and return two of them for touchdowns.  Yes, two pick-sixes.  He will deflect 11 passes and collect 44 tackles, including two sacks.  Apke will field three punts in 2020 and return one for 63 yards and a near-touchdown.  That is certainly bold, but the former Penn St. standout has been turning heads in recent months.

6. Montez Sweat becomes an all-around force for Washington

Sweat had a solid rookie season, but his sophomore campaign is going to be nothing short of impressive.  He is expected to post good numbers, but 2020 will be very special.  Look for the former Mississippi State Bulldog to score 13 sacks, recover two fumbles, intercept one pass, log 51 tackles, and earn one safety.  Bold indeed.
