Washington Football Team 16-game prediction for the 2020 season

October 11 – Week Five: Rams at Washington

Site: FedEx Field, Landover, MD

Time: 1:00pm EDT, Television: FOX

The Rams are a shadow of their former selves and it shows in game five.  The Washington Football Team looks greatly improved behind the power of three Chase Young sacks and two Steven Sims touchdowns.  It leads to a sizable victory.

Final Score: WAS 31, LAR 14

WFT Record: 1-4

October 18 – Week Six: Washington at Giants

Site: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ

Time: 1:00pm EDT, Television: FOX

Two struggling teams clash on a brisk mid-October day and Washington takes a commanding halftime lead.  Dwayne Haskins turns in his first 300-yard game.  The Giants make a spirited run, but it is short-lived.

Final Score: WAS 30, NYG 17

WFT Record: 2-4

October 25 – Week Seven: Cowboys at Washington

Site: FedEx Field, Landover, MD

Time: 1:00pm EDT, Television: FOX

One team has Super Bowl plans.  The other team is playing for respectability.  Forget it!  Toss the records aside!  It’s Dallas week!  The game is close and crazy, but the Washington Football Team pulls off a stunning upset.

Final Score: WAS 33, DAL 31

WFT Record: 3-4

November 8 – Week Nine: Giants at Washington

Site: FedEx Field, Landover, MD

Time: 1:00pm EST, Television: FOX

The Giants are seeking revenge for their poor showing just three weeks ago, but they are unable to produce any threats on offense or defense as Washington cruises to a fourth straight victory.  Terry McLaurin burns the Giants defense for three touchdowns.

Final Score: WAS 41, NYG 14

WFT Record: 4-4

The Washington Football Team is on a four-game winning streak and has made a remarkable turnaround.  At the halfway point in the season, there is room for optimism.  However, a tough second half of the season schedule awaits.
