Games 1-4

September 13 – Week One: Eagles at Washington

Site: FedEx Field, Landover, MD

Time: 1:00pm EDT, Television: FOX

It’s the reverse of last year!  The Eagles score early and often, but the Washington Football Team makes a nice comeback with Antonio Gibson leading the way.  It’s not quite enough as the home team’s rally falls just a bit short.

Final Score: PHI 28,  WAS 24

WFT Record: 0-1

September 20 – Week Two: Washington at Cardinals

Site: University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, AZ

Time: 4:05pm EDT, Television: FOX

After falling just short a week earlier, the Washington Football Team turns in a lethargic performance in the desert, but they keep it close with a spirited effort from Ryan Kerrigan.

Final Score: ARI 23  WAS 17

WFT Record: 0-2

September 27 – Week Three: Washington at Browns

Site: FirstEnergy Stadium, Cleveland, OH

Time: 1:00pm EDT, Television: FOX

Two franchises come together as they seek to reverse their fortunes in this game and for most of the last decade.  Chase Young returns to Ohio and delivers a good performance.  It’s a see-saw affair, but the home team prevails on the final drive.

Final Score: CLE 20, WAS 16

WFT Record: 0-3

October 4 – Week Four: Ravens at Washington

Site: FedEx Field, Landover, MD

Time: 1:00pm EDT, Television: FOX

The Washington Football Team is able to stay even in the first quarter, but the Ravens use their massive firepower to quickly put the game out of reach by halftime.

Final Score: BAL 38,  WAS 13

WFT Record: 0-4

It’s not what the coaching staff expected.  It’s not what the players expected.  The Washington Football Team will need to turn their season around quickly before it spirals out of control.
