The Washington Football Team is ready to embark on a new season and the roster of 53 will be determined in just a couple of days.

The clock is almost down to zero for this very long offseason and 32 teams across the NFL will begin their 2020 journeys with a determined hope of winning the Super Bowl.  Washington has those same dreams and with a new coaching staff in place, optimism is running higher than in previous seasons for fans of the Burgundy and Gold.

Today, we bring you another roster prediction – the final one from yours truly for 2020 and it will look a bit different than the last time we endeavored to put forth such a prognostication.

Once again, there are roster locks, bubble players, and several others who will see their NFL dreams come to end – at least for now.  There will also be a few surprises in the cuts and we will try to predict them today.

Also, don’t be astonished to see an educated guess or two that centers on any remaining free agents or players who will be jettisoned by other teams in a few days.

The process of determining the opening day roster is underway and now we will look into the Riggo’s Rag crystal ball yet again and try to predict how it all unfolds.  Current injuries will be factored in, but there is no way to predict when last-minute injuries may occur and how it will impact the team.

Too, when this article is posted, there could be a few players who have been released thus far.

The practice squad swells to 16 players this season and four of them will be protected from being signed by other organizations.  Up to six veterans can be placed on the practice squad for this season only, but hey, it’s time to create a final roster prediction, so let’s get right to it!
