The Washington Football Team’s defensive backfield experienced massive turnover during this offseason, but the special teams unit is expected to have no more than a few minor changes for the 2020 season.

Welcome to our final predictions for each unit of the Washington Football Team’s offense, defense, and special teams.  Today, we will take a look at the cornerbacks, safeties, and special teams players and give you some predictions.  In our earlier projections, the offense was labeled as a group that will not produce lofty numbers.  Make no mistake, we would love to be wrong, but putting forth these educated guesses is not an exact science.  In early January, we will certainly have our answers.

Our examination of the defensive line and linebackers contained some lofty projections, but it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise to see these players hitting those benchmarks.  Can the cornerbacks, safeties, and special teams create solid numbers in 2020?  Will there be any surprises within these three units?  Are they going to fall short of expectations or exceed our wildest imaginations and dreams?  Once again, the total tackles projected are assisted and solo combined.  Let’s plunge right in and see what is possible for 2020.
