Round 5

The Washington football tema had one pick in Round 5 and they chose Arkansas tight end Jeremy Sprinkle. Fans are going to think this is a very low or failing grade, but keep reading for some interesting details. Sure, he is not George Kittle — a very talented tight end for the 49ers that was selected several picks before Sprinkle, but this grade is a bit better than you may think.

Sprinkle’s first two years were uneventful and while his third year was not considered a breakout season, it was a substantial improvement. This could give him the edge in a crowded collection of tight ends currently on the roster. Of course, we don’t grade on future potential, but the 2019 season was encouraging.
