2020 Outlook: Gandy-Golden was a great pick late in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. The 6-4 pass-catcher was very productive in his two seasons of Division I football at Liberty and has the skills needed to be a productive receiver at the next level.

The only knock on Gandy-Golden is that he’s not the fastest guy on the field. Nonetheless, he profiles as a future No. 2 receiver and should get a chance to compete at that position for Washington. It may take him time to get comfortable given the jump in competition, but he could end up being one of the team’s most productive rookies in 2020.

Expected Role: It’s hard to say exactly what role Gandy-Golden will play in 2020. He should have a chance to battle for the No. 2 receiver role and at the very least, he will probably be the top backup for the team. Had Kelvin Harmon been healthy, Gandy-Golden may not have played right away, but now he has a big opportunity in front of him.

Status: Roster lock. Gandy-Golden is a talented fourth-round pick and few would’ve batted an eye if he went at the end of Day 2. He will probably be the starter across from McLaurin by the end of the year if all goes well.
