4. CB Fabian Moreau

Another player who has been somewhat of a lackluster performer compared to expectations is Fabian Moreau. Moreau, a corner who fell due to injury that had legit first round talent, was one of the Scot McCloughan picks glorified by Redskins fans and the media at the time of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Well, that talent hasn’t yet fully materialized. That’s partially due to Josh Norman being the unquestioned starter at corner for most of this Redskins career and partially due to the incredible development of converted wideout Quinton Dunbar.

It’s not all doom and gloom though. The former UCLA Bruin has shown flashes of potential during his time in Washington, managing three interceptions the second-most on the team in 2019 with and 44 tackles which led all corners.

With the previous two corners out of the picture, Moreau enters camp projected to be one of the team’s starting outside corners. If he can seize the opportunity in front of him and build off a strong 2019 season, he could become the team’s No. 1 corner for years to come.
