With the recent co-signs from Julie Donaldson and Chad Johnson, it is time to buy into the hype with Redskins receiver Terry McLaurin.

“Terry McLaurin…… that’s it, that’s the f*****g tweet.” Chad Johnson raves about second-year Washington Redskins receiver Terry McLaurin and the untapped potential he has.

It’s no secret that the Redskins found a gem in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. With the selection of Terry McLaurin, originally planning to be more of a blocker and special-teams player than a full-time WR1, the Redskins hoped for the 24-year-old to progress into an eventual rotational piece at the receiver position.

Even Washington had underestimated the impact “Scary Terry” would have in year one, and the number of shock waves produced by No. 17. It’s hard to blame them, as he was overshadowed even during his days at the Ohio State University.

Starting from game No. 1 in the 2019 NFL season, McLaurin’s big-play ability shined brightest. With an impressive debut of five catches for 125 yards and a touchdown — which really should’ve been an even bigger day for the youngster if it wasn’t for subpar quarterback play — McLaurin put himself on the map instantly.

From then on, Terry McLaurin emerged as an arguable top-10 wide receiver in the NFL. To some, the hype may be undeserving, or an ounce of “homerism”. But make no mistake about it, the tape doesn’t lie. The now second-year wide receiver possesses elite attributes and has proven an immense amount in just 14 games.

“Terry McLaurin is a superstar. In every way.” Julie Donaldson gives her expert analysis of McLaurin the player and the person. There’s no getting around it: Terry McLaurin is the guy in D.C.
