No. 1 – DE Chase Young

Chase Young is an obvious candidate to be a Pro Bowl selection this season. Young is joining an already stout defensive line in Washington and his presence will only make them that much stronger.

In his three year stint at Ohio State, Young compiled 30.5 sacks and finished his 2019 campaign with 16.5 sacks, earning him the spot as a Heisman finalist. Coming out of college, Young was looked at as the best edge rusher not only in his class, but some heralded him as the best edge rusher in recent years. His PFF pass rush grade of 96.5 is the best grade PFF has ever given out to an edge rusher.

The second overall selection in the 2020 draft looks to be a perfect fit for the new defensive scheme Jack Del Rio is trying to bring to Washington. If Chase Young performs anywhere close to his expectations, he will be an amazing selection for the Redskins and could be a Pro Bowler his rookie year.
