In my last article, I took a look at the three offensive players who were prime candidates to make the Pro Bowl. Now lets take a dive into the Redskins defensive unit to see which players are in the best spot to make the Pro Bowl this year.

Last season, the Washington Redskins offensive unit and even the special teams unit each had one player selected to the Pro Bowl, which makes the defense the lone unit with zero nominations. While some players put up impressive numbers  last season, it just was not enough to get the nomination to the Pro Bowl.

So far this offseason, the Redskins have made an ample amount of changes to their defensive unit including changing their defensive coordinator and multiple positional coaches. New defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio brings an impressive defensive record to Washington and should elevate this defensive in every aspect.

This season should show much growth for the defensive unit as a whole after being ranked near the bottom of the league in most categories in 2019. So, which three players will help this defense the most and will have the chance to make the Pro Bowl come January?
