It’s way too early to predict the outcome of each game on the Redskins 2020 schedule.

So let’s predict the outcome of each game on the Redskins 2020 schedule.

The Washington Redskins‘ sixteen-game slate for the 2020 regular season was revealed last week, featuring series against the AFC North and NFC West, as well as the usual six-game rotation between NFC East opponents.

This season, while unlikely to yield playoff success, will be a telling one for Washington. It’s Ron Rivera’s rebound season after being fired by the Panthers, and under Rivera, a number of players will receive opportunities crucial to their careers. Washington doesn’t necessarily have to win in 2020 to claim victory; as long as Rivera sets a good foundation for the better-equipped years to follow, Washington will be on the right track.

With that being said, just for kicks, let’s take a shot at predicting the outcome of each game on the Redskins’ 2020 schedule — if not to aim for legitimate accuracy, then to at least acquaint you with each weekly opponent.

Keep in mind that this prediction is one of many potential outcomes. If Rivera’s culture change catches on early, and if the roster’s talent is receptive to better coaching, they could find themselves unlikely contenders. And if Rivera fails to adapt, and if his players wind up not buying in, then it could be a year on par with 2019, in terms of disappointment. Everything is on the table. Let’s see what might happen!
