The 2020 NFL Draft has officially concluded, and now, the focus turns to the undrafted free agent frenzy, where the Redskins hope to attain more value.

The Washington Redskins ended up using eight selections in the 2020 NFL Draft, with the earlier picks attracting more fanfare than the later ones.

On Day 1, Washington walked away with elite edge rushing prospect Chase Young. On Day 2, they walked away with versatile offensive weapon Antonio Gibson. And on Day 3, they accumulated an assortment of players, which are listed out below in round order:

The common theme among the Redskins’ Day 3 picks was versatility, but in the process of accumulating flexible assets, Washington overlooked some other positions of need, such as tight end and cornerback, but there are still plenty of intriguing prospects to bring in via the undrafted pool, and the Redskins’ talent acquisition phase is far from over.

Washington has experienced success in the undrafted pool before, most recently with former Kansas wideout Steven Sims Jr., who emerged as an explosive weapon in 2019, racking up 34 catches for 310 yards and four touchdowns, as well as nine carries, 85 yards, and an additional score. Sims gave the Redskins an unexpected spark, and the hope is that Ron Rivera and Kyle Smith can turn up similar returns from this year’s undrafted crop.

Below, we’ll be refreshing an undrafted free agents tracker live, to keep you up to date with who the Redskins are bringing in. Be sure to routinely check back with us, as this process is certain to last at least the rest of the night, and likely into the rest of the weekend. There are always more players to add, and Rivera, at the start of his contract window, will be looking for resilient players to take with him. Let’s see who he chooses next.

Redskins 2020 Undrafted Free Agent Signings

Follow along here for Washington’s undrafted signings when they occur!

7:33 PM: The Redskins have signed LSU tight end Thaddeus Moss as an undrafted free agent, per NFL network’s Tom Pelissero. Moss, who stands at 6-foot-2, 250, is the son of Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss. Naturally, his name generates a lot of hype. Moss is a decent athlete with good receiving skills, evidenced by his 47 receptions, 570 yards, and four scores in 2019. He’s not dominant in any one area, but he should have a good chance at making the final roster.

One reason for Moss’ undrafted slide could be a foot fracture that was revealed at the NFL Combine. The fracture needed surgery, and Moss was unable to medically clear with teams over the course of the offseason. Once he’s fully healthy, he’ll have a big opportunity on his hands.

7:39 PM: Washington has made an addition at quarterback, signing Colorado UDFA Steven Montez to a deal, per Ben Standig of The Athletic. Montez is athletic and has a big arm, and could stick around on the practice squad if he flashes enough in preseason.

7:49 PM: The Redskins have signed former Temple wide receiver Isaiah Wright, according to Standig. Wright, who transitioned from the running back position over the course of his Owls career, is 6-foot-2, 220, and logged 47 receptions, 442 yards, and five touchdowns in 2019.

10:00 PM: The Redskins have signed another wide receiver, this time Missouri’s Johnathon Johnson, per Sam Fortier. Johnson, who stands at around 5-foot-10, 180, was never a premier player for the Tigers’ offense, but he offers excellent speed and acceleration in open space, and he’s also fairly shifty. He managed over 40 receptions and 700 yards in 2017.
