The Washington Redskins are armed with one pick on Day 2 of the 2020 NFL Draft. Here’s a look at some of their best options at positions of need with the 66th selection.

The first round of the 2020 NFL Draft has come and gone. And for the Washington Redskins, there were no surprises. The team opted to go with edge rusher Chase Young with the No. 2 overall pick. There was no trade, they just stayed home and took the player who many believe is the most talented in this class to add talent to their defense.

But now, the Redskins are going to have to start thinking about filling those needs. They’re armed with just one pick on Day 3 after trading their 2020 second-round pick (No. 34 overall) to the Indianapolis Colts in the Montez Sweat trade of 2019. So, they’ll need to make the 66th selection count.

The Redskins should be well-positioned to land a player at an impact position in the third round. They have needs at the uber-deep offensive tackle and wide receiver positions and could land one of the top two tight ends in this class or a safety or corner at the pick as well. It doesn’t look likely that a quality linebacker prospect will be in range at 66, but perhaps the Redskins will see an unheralded gem to consider.

With that said, the Redskins have options, but what might their best options with the pick be? Here’s a look at the best potential player at each position of need that could be available when they’re on the clock with No. 66 overall.
