The Washington Redskins may be moving on from Trent Williams in the coming days. If they do, here’s a look at a few tackle prospects they could target if they get a second-round pick in exchange for him.

As the 2020 NFL Draft draws nearer, one thing is becoming clearer about Trent Williams. First of all, it seems like the Redskins are ready to trade him if they get the proper value.

And second of all, it seems like teams are more willing to consider that value.

There are a number of tackle-needy teams in what is viewed as a deep tackle class. But only a select few will be able to start right away. And as a result, certain teams may view Williams as a must-have commodity, especially teams that want to win now or want to protect investments that they have at the quarterback position.

Some believe that the Redskins may be able to leverage a first-round pick for Williams. At this stage, that would surprise me, but a second-round pick, once thought to be unlikely, is looking more and more possible. And if the Redskins do acquire a second-round pick for Williams, they will be well-positioned to land a potential replacement for him depending on where that selection falls.

So, with that said, here are a few tackles the Redskins could target in the second round if they do end up moving Williams for a pick in that range.
