The Redskins choice at No. 2 overall gains more attention with every passing day.

The 2020 NFL Combine recently concluded in Indianapolis, and at the Combine, more fuel was added to the fire that billows in the near future for the Washington Redskins. Isaiah Simmons added the most fuel to that flame, with an excellent NFL Combine performance that left scouts marveling at his upside.

Chase Young, in contrast, opted not to test at the NFL Combine, in order to preserve his already sky-high draft stock, and in doing so, he withheld athletic numbers for the time being. The comparison between Simmons’ performance and Young’s absence naturally generates momentum for Simmons. But does the Clemson product deserve to be considered by the Redskins at No. 2?

That’s what we’re here to talk about. Turn the page for an in-depth review of Simmons’ tape, as well as a discussion on how he matches up against the edge rusher from Ohio State.
