Maybe the Washington Redskins shouldn’t be so quick to run Trent Williams out of town.

Washington sports teams, fans, and media have a history of running talented players out of town. An example of this was when the Washington Bullets/Wizards traded Chris Webber to the Sacramento Kings.

Webber leaving D.C. turned out to be a huge mistake for the organization. They struggled to find success without him while Webber helped lead the Kings to some of their best seasons.

Why do I bring this up? Well, there’s another player who is currently being run out of town. He’s on the Washington Redskins. His name is Trent Williams.

Now, I know it is almost academic that Williams is gone. But let’s review the case for giving Williams a new contract. Maybe by the end of this article, you might be joining the chorus to bring back Williams!
