. Wide Receiver. Green Bay Packers. Jalen Reagor. 30. player. 49

If Denzel Mims comes off the board early, the Packers may be in a tough spot at this pick. They’re desperate for a receiver and there aren’t a lot of other players on the board that are great values or fill needs for the Packers.

This is a deep receiver class, but the options at 30 are tough to comb through. The likes of Jalen Reagor, Brandon Aiyuk, Tee Higgins, and Chase Claypool are on the board, and all have a shot at going in the first (or falling deeper in to the draft, for that matter).

If the Packers aren’t particular about the receivers available, they could trade down and grab one in the second. But for now, Reagor makes the most sense.

Reagor’s stock has been falling after a rough combine saw him clock a 4.47 40-yard dash. That wasn’t bad, but it was much slower than people expected Reagor to move. He improved upon that number at his unofficial Pro Day (4.22) but he was about 10 pounds lighter than he was at the combine.

The truth is likely somewhere in the middle. But one thing is certain. On tape, Reagor shows speed. And he should add that to the Packers offense, which is an element that they’ve been missing for some time.

With Reagor’s speed and Devin Funchess’ size, the Packers would have a couple more matchup-based weapons on offense to give Aaron Rodgers some more targets aside from Davante Adams. And the upgrade for Reagor going from TCU’s awful QB situation to playing with Rodgers could make him a sleeper among the receivers in this draft when it comes to rookie year production.
