Patrick Queen. 24. player. 15. . Linebacker. New Orleans Saints

This is another near-perfect fit. The Saints need one more piece for their linebacker corps to solidify it. Why not target Patrick Queen, a local player from LSU, to fill the void?

Queen has been a steady riser in the lead-up to the 2020 NFL Draft. He had a great performance in the National Championship Game to heat up his draft stock. And since then, he has only improved.

With LSU, Queen had the best season of his career, logging 85 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, three sacks, and one interception for the reigning champs. He has good instincts and reacts to plays with great speed. He’s athletic and still has a high ceiling considering that he was only a full-time starter for one season.

Queen would likely move Kiko Alonso to a sub-package role with Demario Davis and Alex Anzalone flanking him. Davis and Queen would be the two players to see the most time at the position and Queen would upgrade the biggest weakness currently on the Saints team.

A cornerback (Trevon Diggs) or receiver (Jalen Reagor) would also make sense. But Queen is the best option for the squad at this point.
