20. player. 52. . Wide Receiver. Jacksonville Jaguars. Justin Jefferson

The Jaguars addressed the secondary with their first, first-round pick. Now, they’ll get another pass catcher for their offense.

It sure seems like the Jaguars are going to role with Gardner Minshew as their quarterback this season. Minshew played well at times as a sixth-round rookie, but he’ll need some more support on offense if the Jaguars want him to take a step forward.

Grabbing a left tackle could be in play here (Minshew was sacked 33 times in 12 starts last season). But it grabbing a receiver may be the better play, especially if Justin Jefferson is still on the board.

Jefferson (6-foot-1, 202 pounds) was one of Joe Burrow’s favorite receivers at LSU last season. The junior was prolific for the squad catching a whopping 111 passes for 1,540 yards and 18 touchdowns. He showed a knack for making contested catches and proved to be great at tracking the ball. Add in his 4.43 speed and he could be the full package as a No. 1 receiver.

The Jaguars had great success a couple years ago spending a second-round pick on LSU receiver D.J. Chark. Jefferson would be a great compliment to him and with Dede Westbrook and Chris Conley providing depth and slot capabilities, Minshew would have a lot of weapons to target in 2020.
