The Washington Redskins have made quite a few free-agent signings this offseason. Here are grades for the latest defensive free agents that they’ve signed.

The Washington Redskins have added quite a few new players to the team this offseason. In Ron Rivera‘s first season with the squad, he’s evidently focusing on two things. They are building up depth, so the team will have competition at key positions, and implementing a strong culture that players are going to buy into.

As a result, the team has jettisoned some players of old to make room for some new guys on the roster. The moves haven’t always been pretty — getting just a fifth-round pick for Quinton Dunbar was far from ideal — but the team is at least trying to establish a direction and set themselves up with future cap flexibility.

That said, a lot of the deals that the Redskins have signed a short-term pacts. They will give the team that flexibility while also giving them players that can either contribute now or fight to contribute now. And on defense, the signings they’ve made have been particularly solid in that regard.

We already graded the Redskins decision to re-sign Jonathan Bostic and sign Kendall Fuller. For those grades, click here.

But now, onto the other defensive signings that the Redskins have made over the course of the past week.
