Cleveland Browns. Mekhi Becton. 10. player. 53. . Offensive Tackle

The Cleveland Browns solved one tackle problem in free agency by inking former Titans blocker Jack Conklin to a deal. But they came into the offseason with two tackle problems, so they’ll have to tackle the other one (Bad pun, please excuse) in the 2020 NFL Draft.

At No. 10, the Browns are almost guaranteed to have at least one of the draft’s four premier offensive tackles still on the board, and in this scenario, Mekhi Becton and Andrew Thomas were both available. Becton and Thomas are the ideal possibilities, as they have the most experience at left tackle out of the top four tackles.

Cleveland can’t go wrong with either option, but in this mock, I went with the higher-upside player in Becton. Becton has a massive frame measuring around 6-foot-7, 364, and yet, he absolutely glides when moving in open field. Becton’s combination of size, power, and mobility is nearly unmatched at the NFL level, and he can give Kevin Stefanski the sturdy offensive tackle play the head coach sorely missed in Minnesota.
