Five available free agents who could still be the Redskins biggest signing

No. 3 – Indianapolis Colts WR Devin Funchess
We had to have at least one former Panther on this list, and it just so happens that Devin Funchess fills a pressing need, as well as fulfills the Ron Rivera connection.
Funchess’ stock is about as low as it’s been through his career, as the Michigan Wolverines product missed nearly the entire 2019 season with an injury. Before his short, unproductive stint with the Colts, however, Funchess was one of the Panthers’ premier receivers on the outside, using his 6-foot-4, 225-pound frame and his 38.5-inch vertical to separate himself from smaller cornerbacks.
Funchess peaked in 2017, with a stat line that contained 63 catches, 840 yards, and eight touchdowns, and seeing as Funchess has yet to turn 26 years old, there’s a chance he could get back to that level of production, with the right coach, the right situation, and with a chance to get back to full health.
The Redskins need more size in their receiving core, and Funchess is a near-exact match for that need, who also happens to be young and familiar with some of the Redskins staff.
