The Washington Redskins have made a number of solid moves in free agency so far, but there are some more under-the-radar types they could target as free agency continues.

This offseason, the Washington Redskins have made quite a few moves in free agency. But they’ve generally been a specific type of deal, regardless of the players that the squad has signed.

Typically, the Redskins have been signing guys to short-term deals. So far, they’ve only inked two players to deals longer than two years, Kendall Fuller and Wes Schweitzer. And only one player, Fuller, has received more than a $5 million average annual value as of this writing.

That said, it’s clear that the Redskins have a plan in mind this year. They want to add depth to their weak spots. The one big fish they may have had their eye on was Amari Cooper. But he ultimately went back to the Dallas Cowboys on a nine-figure deal, and losing out on him didn’t hurt the ‘Skins too much.

The ‘Skins have added a number of solid player, but they still have some holes they need to fill. Everyone knows the bigger names out there right now: Eric Ebron at tight end, Robby Anderson at wide receiver, and a few guys on the defensive line like Jadeveon Clowney. Washington will certainly have interest in some of the top guys remaining (most likely a guy like Ebron) but there are some underrated players out there that could fit the mold they’ve been targeted. Understated contributors who could help the team build depth and find a diamond in the rough.

With that said, here’s a look at some of the more under-the-radar players the Redskins could look at as free agency continues on.
