Three defensive linemen for the Redskins to watch at the 2020 NFL Combine
The Washington Redskins don’t need much on the defensive line but they could stand to add some depth amid their transition to a 4-3 defense. Here are a few D-Linemen and edge rushers to watch at the NFL Combine.
Heading into the 2020 offseason, one of the Redskins biggest strengths is their defensive line. They have a lot of quality young talent on the unit including Jonathan Allen, Daron Payne, Matt Ioannidis, and Montez Sweat and they should ensure that the line is set up for success in the near future.
That said, teams can always stand to add depth on the D-Line and the edge. After all, you can never too many pass rushers, right? So, the team will be taking a look at some of these prospects during the 2020 NFL Combine.
Let’s get this out of the way before anyone gets too angry. Chase Young isn’t participating in drills at the combine. He has bowed out knowing that he’s essentially a top-three lock for the draft. So, he isn’t going to be on the list of players to watch on Saturday though he well could be a Redskin come draft day and they would absolutely be keying on him if he was participating.
