The Washington Redskins may be looking to add more to their wide receiver room in 2020. Here are three players they should be watching at the 2020 NFL Combine.

Last season, the Redskins receiving corps looked like a major weakness on paper. But as the year progressed, they had a couple of young players emerge as quality pass catchers that seem to have a bright future at the NFL level.

Notably, Terry McLaurin emerged after being a third-round pick and was one of the best rookie receivers in the league. He nearly cracked 1,000 receiving yards despite dealing with unsteady quarterback play and an injury that sidelined him for a couple of games. He figures to be a No. 1 receiver moving forward.

Elsewhere, Steven Sims proved to be a solid and explosive slot man after being signed as an undrafted free agent. It looks like he may have a chance to be a starter in 2020 give the skills he showed at the end of the 2019 campaign.

And sixth-round pick Kelvin Harmon had some nice moments as well. He doesn’t have a starting job locked up, but it sure looks like he will be able to function as a top backup and may have the potential to start if he continues to progress.

Though the Redskins have a lot of youth and upside in their receiving corps, they may not be done adding to it. They may want to get one more reliable candidate to pair with McLaurin and give Dwayne Haskins more weapons ahead of his second season. Getting a bigger and stronger receiver might be the way to go for the squad, as they already have plenty of explosiveness with McLaurin and Sims.

In a loaded 2020 receiver class, perhaps the ‘Skins will look to add another weapon to their group. There are plenty of mid-round options that could intrigue them and here’s a look at a few players they should be watching closely during their NFL Combine workouts.
