The Redskins need a change, and that’s exactly what they’ll get with Ron Rivera.

Even in good situations, the message of a coach can lose its luster over time. In bad situations, it can crumble and become toxic. We’ve seen this first hand with the Washington Redskins over the years.

Under Dan Synder, they’ve tried the “college coach”, the “offensive coordinator”, the “surprise hire”, the “legendary coach”, and the “Super Bowl-winning coach”. While a few of these coaches had moderate success, none reached peak level of success, nor have they been able to sustain any level of winning.
