The Washington Redskins have some holes to fill and some money to spend. Our roundtable debates who their biggest target should be in 2020 free agency.

The 2020 offseason will be a crucial one for the Washington Redskins. It’s their first in a decade without Bruce Allen at the helm of things and they’ll have a new head coach in Ron Rivera for the first time since 2014 when Jay Gruden took over the team and replaced Mike Shanahan.

The Redskins aren’t going to be able to fill all of their holes overnight. They have few position groups that really appear to be fully settled and in truth, the defensive line is the only position group that may not necessarily need an upgrade.

This offseason, the Redskins will pick and choose what positions to address as Rivera looks to institute his program and build a culture in D.C. It will be interesting to see what their plan of attack is and what they believe their biggest weaknesses are but suffice to say, they will be making some moves this offseason.

Free agency will be a particularly important time for the Redskins this offseason. There are a number of key contributors available that could have an impact on the team. And while the old mantra of successful teams building through the draft as opposed to free agency rings true, it’s important to note that teams can make substantive upgrades in free agency to improve their teams. They just have to pick and choose which players they most want to add.

Who should the Redskins make their No. 1 priority in free agency? We here at Riggo’s Rag wanted to answer that question as best as we could. So, we gathered the roundtable together to discuss which players should be the team’s top targets once mid-March rolls around. Without further ado, here are the players our four writers chose.
