A blueprint for the Washington Redskins 2020 free agency

NFL free agency will be here in less than eight weeks and the Washington Redskins will need to be proactive once the clock strikes 4 pm on March 18.

Most coaches, general managers, and team owners will tell you that the best way to build a team is through the draft each year.

That’s true, but any team can also add players from the pool of free agents each offseason.  It can also be an effective tool for jettisoning aging team members and unproductive players as well.

In the early days of spring, the Redskins will have the opportunity to re-sign, release, and add new players as the 2020 roster begins to take shape.  Today, we present a theoretical, four-step offseason blueprint for the upcoming free agency period and how it might unfold.
