They say it’s now draft season, but the truth is, draft season never ends. But new chapters begin, and the Redskins will witness a page turn later today.

The next page turns with the commencement of the 2020 East-West Shrine Bowl. The Shrine Bowl is essentially a lesser version of the Senior Bowl, but that shouldn’t be an excuse for the Washington Redskins to overlook the prospects present.

The Shrine Bowl has featured current offensive NFL starters such as Jimmy Garoppolo, Emmanuel Sanders, Terron Armstead, Brandon Brooks, and Roger Saffold, and on defense, players like 2019 sack leader Shaquil Barrett, Packers defensive MVP Za’Darius Smith, and Broncos breakout star Justin Simmons all got their start in St. Petersburg.

In the draft process, no stone can be left unturned, and the Shrine Bowl is just one more rock that might have some gemstones hidden beneath it. The game kicks off at 3:00 PM eastern time today. Which players should you be on the lookout for?
