The day after Bruce Allen, what’s next for the Redskins?

If Dan Snyder does replace Bruce Allen, he’s going to have to choose from a few different types of candidates.
Within the next 10 days, the fate of the #FireBruceAllen campaign to remove Bruce Allen as Redskins’ Team President will be known. It goes without saying that the situation will be beyond dire if he’s still employed in any football operational capacity by January 6th. But what happens if/when Bruce is gone?
Daydream for a moment with me: It’s the day after Bruce Allen is fired (or invited to resign/retire) and Redskins fans everywhere are dancing in their metaphorical streets.
The #FireBruceAllen campaign has finally had impact (real or imagined). There’s a clean slate and the future is full of bright possibilities. Hopes are high that this time, finally, Dan Snyder will get lucky and stumble into a competent, successful and respectable executive to lead this once-proud franchise back to glory.
But while many fans have thought long and hard about which head coach gives the Redskins the best chance at success, few have considered the possibilities for replacing Bruce Allen. Snyder has six possible avenues to pursue when it comes to handing over the reins of the Redskins football operation. Which will he choose, and with what chance of success? Let’s take a look…
