10 potential GM candidates for the Redskins if they part with Bruce Allen

The Washington Redskins could part with Bruce Allen after a decade of minimal success. Here are some candidates to replace him if they do part ways.

Black Monday is nearly here and in Washington, Redskins fans are eagerly awaiting the decisions that the team will make after an extremely disappointing season.

The Redskins have already fired Jay Gruden. They did that months ago after an 0-5 start to the season. So, they are going to have a new head coach and likely will hear about that at some point in the week or two after the season ends.

But what fans are really tuning in for is the status of Bruce Allen. The Redskins long-time President/de facto GM is skating on thin ice after a poor year and there are rumblings that he could be out. Or he could be reassigned. There’s no guarantee that he will be gone, but it seems that there is as good a chance as ever that he may not return.

If Allen is, in fact, gone, the Redskins will suddenly have an opening in their front office at the President/GM position. They can opt to fill that role from within and restructure their front office or they could add another voice from outside to change things up a bit. Either way, they’ll do due diligence on front office options if they part with Allen as they look to reevaluate their leadership structure.

With that said, it’s important to know some of the key potential GM/President candidates that the Redskins could look at. Here are 10 options that they could consider ahead of what will be a crucial decision to kick off the 2020s.
