4. The Reality Is, Greg Manusky is still Greg Manusky

For a couple weeks there, I was starting to think that maybe Greg Manusky must have had an epiphany. The defense was playing some mysterious combination of more complex and more simple that was producing significantly improved results. I thought maybe Manusky had turned a new leaf. But, alas, ol’ Greg got back to his old ways again with the loss to Philly. Dropping Montez Sweat in coverage, guessing wrong on every third down, and apparently instructing his defensive backs not to worry about Zack Ertz. Apparently, whatever Manusky said to his defense last week was really pitch-perfect for Ryan Anderson, but for everyone else, it must have sounded like it was in an alien language.

My Prediction: Greg Manusky is about to coach his last two games as an NFL defensive coordinator.
