2. Aaron Rodgers throws for four TDs against Redskins

The key to this game will be about how the Redskins defense can fare against Aaron Rodgers. But in reality, it may be difficult for them to contain him.

Quinton Dunbar and Fabian Moreau have both played very well in recent weeks at the cornerback position, but again it’s important to note that they weren’t playing against the likes of Rodgers.

Rodgers is simply very good at throwing his receivers open and fitting balls into tight windows. The Redskins secondary has had some issues with communication in recent weeks, and if that continues to happen, the Packers and Rodgers will take advantage of their occasional coverage lapses.

Overall, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Rodgers find a lot of success, especially if the Pack can get the run game going. If the Redskins can’t render the Packers one dimensional, Rodgers will be able to use play-action to pick apart the Washington defense. If that happens, then Rodgers could post a massive stat line.

Four touchdown passes for Rodgers seems like something that could happen. It may not be likely, but if the Packers show up motivated to play hard, they could jump out to an advantage. And if they do, it will likely be because of Rodgers’ ability to get the ball into the end zone.
