The Washington Redskins were barely able to escape with a win against the Carolina Panthers. They won 29-21 them out and ended up improving to 3-9 with the victory.

All of a sudden, the Redskins have strung together a couple of wins. They were able to come from 14 points down to beat the Panthers for a big road win.

The 29-21 victory was a solid one for the Redskins. They had only a couple of poor drives on defense and seemed to find their identity on offense as a ground-dominant team with a game-managing quarterback.

Still, the Redskins nearly blew this game. The Panthers had a chance to go in for the game-tying scoring as they had four goal-to-go opportunities after they recovered an onside kick late in the game. The Redskins defense came up big on the goal-line and Kyle Allen didn’t see a wide-open Jarius Wright in the end zone on fourth down. That’s how they escaped with the win.

Dwayne Haskins had a nice outing against the Panthers. He didn’t do anything particularly special and still took a lot of sacks. But, he avoided turnovers and big mistakes to keep the Redskins offense on the field. That ball-dominant offense seemed to work well and afforded the team the opportunity to make the comeback.

The ‘Skins scored 29 unanswered on Sunday and have surely given their fans some hope for the future. With that said, here’s a look at three takeaways from what may have been the best game the ‘Skins have played this season.
